About CQ Hearing
CQ Hearing is the trading name for Central Queensland Audiology P/L which was first established in Rockhampton in 1999. CQ Audiology is a Rockhampton family owned company and Audiologist Howard Walmsley and Trainee Audiometrist Darcy Walmsley still own and manage the Company.
In 2017, CQ Hearing opened their new purpose-built clinic in Campbell Street within the Rockhampton Business Centre (RBC) building. The RBC is very conveniently located just near the corner of Albert St and Campbell street with excellent parking outside the main entrance. The clinic is on the ground level so there are no steps or lifts to navigate. CQ Hearing also runs a visiting site in Emerald, at the Emerald Medical Centre, and typically we are there fortnightly.
Amongst our aims is to provide affordable hearing tests and affordable hearing solutions. Being fully independent we are not part of a multi-national hearing aid company and we can set out own fees for audiology services and select the best hearing devices available at the best prices. CQ Hearing also offers the best after-care program in Central Queensland.
